It took me 4 years to gain the courage to go to St. Francis. I have felt unwelcome in many other churches, most of all Catholic churches. I knew from the moment I entered the church and sat down, St. Francis was not one of those churches. I'm sorry I spent so much time away in fear, I missed the opportunity to know some really great people.
I keep coming because I can worship openly, so that I can give back, because they have given so much to me, because I am welcomed, I am loved, and I am worthy. To be able to have this experience with a church, is a rare gift.
