Reverend Terrence Metz
I came to St Francis via St Raphael and All Angels (church) in Milwaukee. There I discovered the church through my yoga instructor, the late Kathleen Hitchcock Warrick. I stayed for three reasons, in order of priority:
1.The people --- open-minded, logical, and magical.
2.The First Ray Benediction at the end of the Eucharist, knowing how important it will be in my life when “ . . . Star shines forth.”
3.The therapeutic affect of singing the Kyrie and Gloria in their true solemn splendor.
I became a priest because I was asked to. Frankly, I became a server because I was asked to. I was happy enough enjoying the services, companionship, and doing dishes.
